eREAD’s ACT/SAT Test prep program provides a review of math, language, reading and science content covered in required college entrance examinations, instruction in test taking strategies, and practice tests.  Our program is designed to meet the needs of individual students and instruction is provided both in small groups and individually.
There is no fee for this program.

Senior Citizens with a desire to learn how to manage files, write email, create cards, and use the magic that is inherent in today’s new technology gather once a week in eREAD’s computer lab.  At eREAD they are able to learn new skills in a collaborative, nurturing, but challenging environment.  Classes are every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m., August through May. Technology Literacy offers students the opportunity to explore a world of technology.  In the newly expanded Technology Lab students learn proper eWaste management techniques, and how to rebuild and refurbish computers.  In addition they can learn to build robots and electronic components. This program gives students 21st Century skills and prepares them for advanced programs like electrical and computer engineering. Click here to register.

After School STEPS provides tutoring on an individual and small group basis for students in those areas which students identify.  Students bring their textbooks, notes, questions and are given the support that they need to be successful in the classroom.  This eREAD program runs Monday-Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m.  There is no cost for tutoring during these hours. Open Lab Service .

 

Open Lab – The eREAD Computer Labs, which have been built and are maintained by students, are available free for members of the community who need access to the internet and technology resources.  Please call or contact us for lab hours and information.

This program is free. e-READ has a fully equipped computer lab that is designed to help meet the needs of individual and group instruction. Students will be referred back to their High School to register. e-READ
