eREAD’s ACT/SAT Test prep program provides a review of math, language, reading and science content covered in required college entrance examinations, instruction in test taking strategies, and practice tests. Our program is designed to meet the needs of individual students and instruction is provided both in small groups and individually.
There is no fee for this program.

 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |  | | | | Senior Citizens with a desire to learn how to manage files, write email, create cards, and use the magic that is inherent in today’s new technology gather once a week in eREAD’s computer lab. At eREAD they are able to learn new skills in a collaborative, nurturing, but challenging environment. Classes are every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m., August through May. In the newly expanded Technology Lab students learn proper eWaste management techniques, and how to rebuild and refurbish computers. In addition they can learn to build robots and electronic components. This program gives students 21st Century skills and prepares them for advanced programs like electrical and computer engineering. Students bring their textbooks, notes, questions and are given the support that they need to be successful in the classroom.
